• Immediate access to restaurants, cafés, and boutiques like Silver (across the street!) and the Pottery Barn.
• Across the street from the start of Capital Crescent Trail.  You can run or bike all the way to Georgetown from here!

Lifestyle vibe: Energetic and social — perfect for anyone who wants to be in the center of it all.

The Darcy in downtown Bethesda was built in 2015 at 7171 Woodmont Ave. This building is perfect for people downsizing from Potomac and other Montgomery County suburbs and looking for a luxury building in downtown Bethesda, close to the Metro, shops and restaurants. The Darcy has all the style and upgrades of a newer condo building with high end appliances and cabinetry, big windows and luxurious bathrooms. The Darcy in downtown Bethesda is perfect for people who want soft urban, seeking a small town feel in a little city close to a major urban city.  If you want a luxury condo building, then you should consider The Darcy as well as the Stonehall, the Adagio, Lionsgate, and the Cheval.  With only 88 units, the Darcy at 7171 Woodmont Avenue is small enough to know your neighbors.

3. The Edgemoor at Arlington

A commuter’s dream, The Edgemoor is within minutes from the Bethesda Metro stop allowing an easy trip into DC & Virginia!

 4. Stonehall Bethesda

Stonehall offers boutique luxury with a quiet, polished atmosphere. It’s slightly tucked away, giving residents a peaceful home base.

Lifestyle vibe: Relaxed elegance — perfect for downsizers or professionals seeking quiet luxury.  The Stonehall is a bit further into the Woodmont Triangle area so it is quieter and further removed from the shops and restaurants of downtown Bethesda.

Stonehall Condos is one of the newest luxury buildings in downtown Bethesda. Located at 8302 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814, this contemporary nine-story development is the product of Duball LLC and the Resmark Companies. Amenities at Stonehall include a full-service concierge to handle dining reservations, car service, dry cleaning and more. Residents enjoy the private club room and sunset views from the rooftop terrace. A porte cochere makes it easy and convenient to arrive at the front door, and residents enjoy reserved garage parking so they’ll never have to worry about searching for a spot in downtown Bethesda.

The Stonehall condos in Bethesda for sale come in both two and three-bedroom floorplans, with sizes typically ranging from around 950 to 2,500 square feet. And for those who enjoy life at the very top, there are also some stunning penthouse city homes.

 

5. Cheval Bethesda

Cheval is one of the newer luxury condos in Bethesda, known for its bright, modern design and floor‑to‑ceiling windows.

Lifestyle vibe: Refined and residential — perfect for long‑term Bethesda locals or anyone who values tradition.  This is very close to one of my favorite parts of Bethesda, its fantastic library and the Sunday farmers’ market, held at the Bethesda elementary school.

The Edgemoor at 4821 Montgomery Lane is a small elegant condo community surrounded by the best of what Bethesda has to offer. The 54 owners enjoy living just steps away from the downtown Bethesda shops and restaurants, the Bethesda Metro station and Wisconsin Avenue.  The new Marriott headquarters is about three blocks away and Walter Reed and NIH are less than a mile away.  Built by PN Hoffman in 2003 the Edgemoor represents stately and timeless architecture combined with extraordinary attention to detail.  The condos have fireplaces, Juliette balconies, and typically two parking spaces.
