Kenwood Forest 2 with its sister community, Kenwood Forest 1, combine to make one of the most appealing communities in Montgomery County. Kenwood Forest I is a community of townhomes converted from apartments in the late 1970s to early 1980s. It is at the intersection of Bradley Blvd and Fairfax Road. The townhomes are set in courtyards and surrounded by mature trees. The community is very pet friendly and people enjoy walking their dogs on the Capital Crescent Trail or into downtown Bethesda.
Chevy Chase Park Condos are a small community of condos backing to Norwood Park at the edge of downtown Bethesda. The garden style apartments, located on a quiet street, offer an alternative to the high rise buildings in Bethesda which have become so prevalent. This pet friendly community has off street parking, extra storage and low condo fees. Built in 1947, it is similar to its neighbor, Kenwood Forest, in construction materials and style.
Hamlet House Condos at 3535 Chevy Chase Lake Drive, Chevy Chase MD 20815 offers buyers an opportunity for a moderately priced, mid century modern condo in a garden style setting. Built in 1960, the building is small, with only 31 units. Located off Connecticut Avenue, Hamlet House in Chevy Chase is close to the beltway, the new Purple Line, and downtown Bethesda. The new Chevy Chase Lake community, once it is completed, will offer much needed shopping and restaurants within a short walk.
3020 Porter Street NW Unit 102 in Cleveland Park DC is a perfect starter home and it’s also a great option if you want to downsize. The Bradley House Condos are located at 4800 Chevy Chase Drive, right next to the Norwood Park. This is a small building with only 42 condos and surface parking. Built in 1962, it has a common laundry room and no front desk. All utilities, parking and a storage area are included in the condo fee! You will love the prime location of this unit, walking distance to Bethesda Row with great shopping and restaurants, only blocks to the Metro, and nearby Norwood Park provides great exercise and green space, along with the Capital Crescent Trail for easy access into Georgetown! The building is pet friendly although size restricted.
Located at 7111 Woodmont Avenue, the Crescent Plaza Condos in Bethesda, MD 20815 are very popular with people looking for well priced condos with a high walkability index, good schools and lots of amenities. Built in 2000, the condos have an open floor plan, balconies, parking, and washers and dryers in the units. The community allows pets which is great since you are so close to the Capital Crescent Trail – the picture perfect place to walk with your favorite canine.
